Do my files leave the device?
No. Document opening, parsing, preview and export run locally on your iPhone, iPad or Mac. The app has no account system, analytics SDK or document-upload service.
How do I check an invoice before paying?
Open a supported invoice from Files on iPhone or iPad, or Finder on Mac. Review the seller, buyer, invoice lines and totals in a readable view; the Payment card shows the amount due, due date and IBAN, and warns when a supplier’s IBAN differs from invoices saved in your dossiers. Your first supported document is free, so you can check your file before choosing Pro.
Does the app check electronic signatures?
Yes, offline. CAdES (P7M, P7S, ASiC), XAdES (signed XML invoices, ASiC-E, BDOC, EDOC) and PAdES (signed PDF) signatures and TSD/M7M timestamps are checked against the EU trusted lists included in the app. You see separately whether the signature matches the document, whether the signer’s certificate chains to a provider on the EU trusted lists and is qualified, whether it was valid at signing time, whether the timestamp is trusted, and the signature level (B, T, LT or LTA). The revocation status of the certificate chain is checked when the signature includes revocation data; the app never goes online. PDFs changed after signing are flagged.
Is the check an official validation?
No. The signature and invoice checks (EN 16931 arithmetic, required fields, VAT number, IBAN and national ID check digits, SdI receipts) help you spot problems; they are not an official validation. For legal purposes, use an official validation service such as the EU DSS validation service or the AgID verifier.
What is free?
New users can open their first supported document free. Existing users keep their three-document allowance. Each invoice inside a ZIP, ASiC, DDOC, email or PEC counts as one document. Reopening the same document does not use another free opening; included samples do not count. The invoice explanation overview and on-device translation (iOS 18 or macOS 15 and later) are free.
What does Pro unlock?
A monthly or yearly subscription, a one-time Lifetime purchase or a 7-day Pro pass (pay once, no automatic renewal) unlocks unlimited document opening, readable PDF export, printing and sharing, CSV line-item export, batch ZIP export for up to 100 invoices, the full invoice explanation with an on-device AI summary where Apple Intelligence is available, and Finder Quick Look previews on Mac when eligible Apple devices use the same Apple Account.
